”A NICU nurse creates an unprecedented love story by adopting a teen mom and her triplets”

Three adorable kids, Serenitee, Samari, and Sarayah, were born to a courageous 14-year-old girl named Shariya. These premature infants required a stay in  the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in order to grow into stronger adults. Shariya felt alone even though she spent a lot of time with her children. Fortunately, Shariya was noticed and helped by a kind nurse named Katrina. Like Shariya, Katrina had experienced motherhood at an early age.

Shariya and Katrina grew close as the days went by. Because they had experienced what it was like to be young mothers, they felt connected to one another. Shariya learned valuable lessons from Katrina about caring for her infants. But then, something strange happened. Child Protective Services believed it would be best for Shariya and her children to temporarily live with another family. Shariya was so confident in Katrina that she provided the Child Protective Services staff with Katrina’s contact information in the hopes that things would get better.

And guess what? Something magical happened! Katrina, even though she already had five children of her own, decided to bring Shariya and the triplets to live with her. It was a big decision, but Katrina knew they could figure things out together.

Shariya is doing quite well right now. She received a special scholarship to college after graduating from high school. Shariya deals with new challenges every day, but knowing Katrina is by her side gives her strength and preparedness for anything. Katrina enjoys lending a hand to Shariya and the three infants. Katrina’s love and pride for Shariya make everything feel significant and meaningful, even in difficult circumstances.

Shariya’s story teaches us that even when things seem hard, having friends and a caring community can help us overcome challenges. Now, Shariya wants to be a social worker to help others, just like Katrina helped her. And they all lived happily ever after.
